
Aloha, my friends. My name is Patrick Dufer, and I am the owner of Hualālai Catering. Born and raised in the Midwest, I moved to the Big Island in 2014. I've been in the hospitality industry for a shade over twenty-two years. During this time, I've held several positions ranging from service, executive management, banquets, and catering to kitchen production in a high-volume hotel setting. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2008, I decided to get a formal education in Culinary Arts. Since then, I haven't looked back. All I do is cook, eat, study, and travel.

I learn as much as I can about food while building my repertoire.
